Hardware Description
- 32 channel highly reliable isolated 250 V 10 A relay output, each relay have open port and public point. Support 232 and 485 two kinds bus of communication .

Instruction on the safety and compatibility of the system
In the designing of the “32 Route Relay Serial Port Control Board”, the PC machine power and control system power parts have been completely separated, thus in common situations, no accidental conditions will damage the computer system. The 250V 10A large current relay has been applied, and each route of which can carry 2500W power load. During the PCB design, we have complete separate designs for the relay driven circuit and the MCU communication control system to increase the systematic reliability, maintenance and updating. The control board is suitable for the all kinds of WINDOWS operation systems, for instance: Win98,Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Vista, Win7…
We can provide DEMO project to users, including the functions controlled by the 32 Route Relay, and also the source codes of the Visual Basic (VB) project, it’s convenience for users to software development.
Software Development by yourself.
If the user needs to use his own software to control the relay, we can supply communication protocol interface for you, and you only need to send HEX bytes data to the serial port according to our data format. We will send the protocol documents by your email address.
The relay control board’s software in PC is controlled by a VB software, where the control board is connected to the computer through a serial port(RS232) cable. The serial port is set as “COM1″, “9600, N, 8, 1″.
The first checkbox in PC software window means the first relay on control board and the rest will follow.
How to control 32 Route Relay through the RS232 Serial Port:
The interface of the upper computer is shown in the following graph. Various parameters of
the serial port can be set up through the upper computer, and click the “set up” button later to
complete configuration.
The default configuration is Serial Port 1, Baud Rate 4800bps, 8-Bit Data, No Check Bit, Stop bit=1. If your communication serial port is not COM1, you can set your computer’s actual serial port number.
If there are 32 checkboxes in the picture, they correspond respectively to the control board, thus if you want to control someone relay, just check or cancel its checkbox. The control board has 32 LEDs , each of which corresponds respectively to one relay, indicating the ON or OFF of the relay currently.

- The PC sends 7 bytes to RS232 port, the first byte is 0×10, indicating instructions; the second byte is 0 (which is for use in expansion and can be set aside if not in use); the third to the sixth bytes are for data sending, and the MCU executes instruction according to these bytes; the seventh byte is the ending codes. Every operation of relay ON or OFF will send 7 bytes to COM port, and some bit in one byte will be updated in the data to send instructions to the MCU for its operation.
How to control 32 Route Relay through the RS485 Serial Port

The left window of the PC software can be selected with the control box number, i.e., the “Control Box 1, Control Box 2, Control Box 3, Control Box 4″ in the drop down box can correspond to the 2-bit address switch on the control panel respectively. Control Box 1 corresponds to the “00″ status on the dial switch; Control Box 2 corresponds to the “01″ status on the dial switch; Control Box 3 corresponds to the “10″ status on the dial switch; and Control Box 4 corresponds to the “11″ status on the dial switch. If you need to control someone control box , just select or cancel the checkbox. The 32 LEDs indicate 32 relays status. It’s convenient and fastly!
