Keil uVision will be a little bit difficult to learners. Please read the below instruction carefully.

The SST89E516RD is used for emulation in KinCony 8051 MCU Development Platform. Working with Keil software, onboard emulation and target board emulation (via 40-pin interface) are all very easy.

Emulation chip: 89C51, 89C52, 89S51, 89S52, 89C58, and other 8051 core MCU.

Keil C51 IDE.

Small size monitor program. No on-chip resource required at full speed running.

On-chip 64k ROM with ISP function.

Step/step over, breakpoint set, full speed run, variable reference.

Programming language: pure assemble, pure C, C mixed with assemble.

The emulator hear can be connected to any experiment board, or target board.

Hardware Installation

Hook the 9-pin serial port up with the serial port on PC, e.g. COM1. Then hook the USB cable or external power supply cable, and plug in the emulator into the 40-pin burn-in socket. If you wish to emulate in your target board, use the 40-pin cable to connect the emulator and your target board.

Software Installation

The accessory CD contains Keil uVision 3 evaluation version.

Execute Setup.exe to start installation. No parameter needs to be changed. Click ‘next’ to finish the installation. For detailed instruction, please read the documents in CD.

After installation, click ‘start’ – ‘Programs’ – ‘Keil uVision 3’ to run the Keil.
